COURSE DESCRIPTION

The SAFe 6.0 SSM (SAFe Scrum Master) certification program is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively serve as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment.

Overall, the SAFe 6.0 SSM certification program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Scrum Master role in a SAFe environment and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively facilitate Agile and Scrum processes, promote Agile values, and continuously improve team performance.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Understanding of SAFe principles: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of SAFe, including Agile development, Lean thinking, and SAFe ScrumXP.
• Ability to facilitate Agile and Scrum processes: Participants will learn how to effectively facilitate Agile and Scrum processes in a SAFe environment, including how to plan and execute iterations, manage backlogs, and facilitate team meetings.
• Knowledge of SAFe roles and responsibilities: Participants will learn about the various roles and responsibilities in a SAFe environment, including the roles of Agile teams, Release Train Engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to promote Agile and Scrum values: Participants will learn how to promote Agile and Scrum values and principles within their organization, including how to lead Agile adoption and manage change.
• Understanding of continuous improvement: Participants will learn about continuous improvement and how to use metrics to measure the effectiveness of Agile and Scrum processes. They will also learn how to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance team performance.
• Knowledge of Agile engineering practices: Participants will gain an understanding of Agile engineering practices, including how to incorporate these practices into their team’s work and how to manage technical debt.
