COURSE DESCRIPTION

The SAFe® 6.0 POPM (SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) certification training is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively serve as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a SAFe environment.

CERTIFICATION

Overall, the SAFe 6.0 POPM certification training is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Product Owner/Product Manager role in a SAFe environment and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage and prioritize product backlogs, collaborate with stakeholders, drive product strategy and vision, and manage the product development flow.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Understanding of SAFe principles: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of SAFe, including Agile development, Lean thinking, and SAFe Lean-Agile principles.
• Ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs: Participants will learn how to effectively manage and prioritize product backlogs in a SAFe environment, including how to create user stories, prioritize features, and manage stakeholder needs.
• Knowledge of SAFe roles and responsibilities: Participants will learn about the various roles and responsibilities in a SAFe environment, including the roles of Agile teams, Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders: Participants will learn how to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including how to engage customers and end users, and how to work with other teams and departments.
• Understanding of product development flow: Participants will learn about the product development flow in a SAFe environment, including how to manage the value stream, and how to integrate the work of multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to drive product strategy and vision: Participants will learn how to drive product strategy and vision in a SAFe environment, including how to create a product roadmap, and how to use data and feedback to make informed product decisions.
